The Mouse Jiggler app

The application does not collect, send or share any data and does not connect to the internet. Its settings are stored only on your PC, in %APPDATA%\MouseJiggler\settings.json.

Download counter

When you click a download button, the website records: the date and time, the file, the page language, the button location, the domain of the page you came from, and the browser and system family (for example “Windows/Edge”). To avoid counting the same click twice, it also stores a pseudonymous identifier computed from your IP address with a secret key that changes every day; your IP address itself is never stored. These counts are private and only used to know how many times the app is downloaded.

Contact form

The name, e-mail address, subject and message you send are e-mailed to the site owner and kept in the site database so they can be answered. They are not used for anything else and are never sold or shared. Ask through the same form to have them deleted.

Cookies and measurement

The site works without cookies. Your theme choice and language suggestion choice are kept in your browser’s local storage. If audience measurement (Google Analytics 4) is enabled, it loads only after you accept it in the banner, and you can refuse it.

Hosting and security

Like any website, the host may keep technical server logs for security. Data is kept only as long as needed: download counts for statistics, messages until the conversation is closed.

Your rights

You can ask for access to, correction of or deletion of your data through the contact form.
